Why and when did you get into fitness/nutrition?
I started my fitness journey to get healthy so I can be around for a long time for my daughter. My mom had diabetes, high blood pressure & was on dialysis before she passed away from diabetic complications. I was headed down that path before I started working out. I had high blood pressure & pre-diabetes. 6 months after starting I was off blood pressure medicine & no longer pre-diabetic. Now I want to stay healthy & get stronger.
What is your coaching philosophy?
Coaching philosophy: Have fun! If you are here at class you’re doing something for yourself & you deserve that!
What’s your favorite food?
Mexican food
What’s your favorite exercise/movement?
Overhead push press – it makes me feel strong!
